From there, we installed a Regency G800EC direct vent gas fireplace — a sleek, high-efficiency unit that serves as the heart of the new design. Then came the finish work: custom floor-to-ceiling stonework with tight, flush mortar joints for a clean, modern look, topped off with a built-from-scratch custom mantel to frame the whole space.
